WEDNESFIELD MAGAZINE – VORSPRUNG DURCH TECHNIK AY WE

Not long after we launched in 2019, we were contacted by Wednesfield Magazine, a local publication whose aim is to bring together all parts of the community of this fascinating and historic urban village. Their editor Simon Archer popped down to one of our meets and spent the time meeting members and learning more about the local dub scene. He used the information to put together a fantastic piece that helped put us on the map locally.

VW BUS MAGAZINE – FAMILY FRIENDLY DUBBING

In 2020, we were contacted by VW Bus Magazine who wanted to do a feature on us; and who were we to decline such a generous offer? This came during COVID and was a real boost at a difficult time when meets were limited due to restrictions. It was a great article covering every aspect of the club and our family-friendly dubbin ethos. This helped put us on the map and spread the word about WVVW to a nationwide audience of readers.

VW BUS MAGAZINE – MIDLANDS MEGA MEET After COVID in 2021, we were all feeling a bit lost and felt it was important for the dub community to have something positive to focus on, and this is where the idea of the Midlands Mega-Meet came from. We simply wanted to get all the local clubs and VW related businesses together at a free event, so they could promote what they had to offer. The event was a great success and kindly covered for us by the VW Bus Magazine.

WILLENHALL LIFE MAGAZINE – WILLENHALL TRANSPORT SHOW

The Willenhall Transport Show invited WVVW back this year, giving up more pitches than ever before. We took over a large chunk of the field and filled it with a fantastic mix of old and new dubs. Everyone had a great time and plenty of the public came over to see what we are all about as a group. Willenhall Life magazine featured the event and quite a few of our members made the article!

EXPRESS & STAR – DUBS AT THE BUSH

The Express & Star heard about our Dubs at the Bush show and made contact, offering their support. They sent a photographer to the Hollybush Garden Centre a week before for a photo shoot to help us promote the event in their newspaper and online. Their support continued after the event, with a follow up piece, detailing the day and the money we raised for When You Wish Upon a Star.

VW BUS MAGAZINE – DUBS AT THE BUSH

VW Bus Magazine have supported WVVW for a long time, and featured us many times over the years. They put together a great feature all about Dubs at the Bush which was our first foray into shows. The show proved to be a huge success and local photographer Katrina Drane captured the feel of our family-friendly fun day perfectly for everyone to see.
