CHARITY
As a group, we believe in the power of the dub community. When we all come together and work for a common cause, amazing things can happen. We are a family-friendly group, and we all need a little help every now and then, which is why we support a number of different charities. Our admin team work long and hard to organise these events, but none of it could be a success without the support and generosity of our members. If you are a charity would like to be considered for fund-raising, please contact us now with some details.

Our First Full Year
- 2020
2020 was our first year as the official club of Santa's a Gangster, which is a superb charitable organisation that works hard to ensure that no child wakes up without a gift under the tree on Christmas morning. They work hard to achieve this goal by not only raffling a custom made dub each year, but also collecting gifts that are distributed to the people that need them most. Through our December meet, we sold £320 worth of raffle tickets, collected £60 in cash donations and recieved 436 gifts.

The Momentum Builds
- 2021
We kicked things up a gear in 2021 and explanded our charity work. Our first big event of the year was Coffee, Cake and Campers for Cancer, where we raised £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support. We continued our work with Santa's a Gangster, selling £500 worth of raffle tickets and collecting over 500 toys and gifts for families that needed a little support. This was also the first year of our charity calendar, raising an additional £500 for Santa's a Gangster.

A Tough Year
- 2022
Thanks to COVID, 2022 was a tough year, but that did not stop our members! Our second Coffee, Cake and Campers for Cancer event still managed to raise £300 for Macmillan. Santa's a Gangster continued to receive our support, starting with an £80 cash donation that was raised through selling football cards at our Halloween Campout. This was followed by another £500 in raffle tickets, £500's worth of charity calendars solds and 390 gifts collected at our Christmas meet

When You Wish Upon a Star
- 2023
This year, we were introduced to When You Wish Upon a Star, which is a fantastic charity that makes wishes come true for children with life thretening illnesses. We decided to kick things off with a little fund-raising for them at our Easter Campout and was blown away by the support of our members. Over the space of a couple of days and through an auction and raffle, we managed to raise a whopping £1260.

Dubs at the Bush
- 2023
We decided it was time to put on our first one day mini-festival; Dubs at the Bush! The Hollybush Garden Centre agreed to be our venue (hence the name) and the call was put out for dispalyers and traders. Before long, we were fully booked and despite the poor weather forcasts, everything went ahead as planned. The event attracted thousands of visitors throughout the day and a great time was had by all. More importantly though, we raised another £2,041 for the amazing When You Wish Upon a Star charity.

A Busy Month
- 2023
September proved to be a busy, yet successful month for WVVW. We dedicated both of meets to Coffee, Cake & Campers for Cancer and our wonderful family pulled together. On both dates, we had loads of cakes donated and plenty of members coming along to eat them! Between the two dates, we managed to raise over £355 for Macmillan Cancer Support. In addition to this, we had a pair of tickets to VDubs in the Valley donated too, which we raffled off, making an extra £50 for When You Wish Upon a Star.

Winter Dubland
- 2023
Our first ever Winter Dubland event at The British Ironworks Centre in Oswestry got off to a shaky start thanks to the terrible cold weather. The field we were meant to be using was covered in frost and deep mud (as Deadbug found out when I tried to drive on there). Nevertheless, we all pulled together, and it proved to be a huge success, enjoyed by all. Over the space of six hours, we managed to raise £1201 in cash for Santa's a Gangster, sell £500 worth of raffle tickets for the Joker Buggy and collect 97 gifts for kids to open on Christmas morning.

2024 Charity Calendar
- 2023
For the past three years, WVVW has been designing and selling a charity calendar, raising funds for Santa’s a Gangster, an amazing organisation that works hard to ensure no children wake up without a gift under the tree on Christmas morning. The calendar is made up of all our Cover Star winners from the previous year. This year, we sold thirty-five calendars, raising n additional £350 and bringing our yearly charity total to over £5,000!

Dubs at the Bush 2024
- 2024
Dubs at the Bush returned to the Hollybush Garden Centre for our second year. We had more traders than ever, more displayers and everyone had the best time possible. When You Wish Upon a Star came down to support us and see what we get up to and it all proved to be a great success, raising them an extra £1,875 for their very worthy cause.

WVVW Coffee Morning Market
- 2024
Terrible weather was against us for this meet and it proved to be a bit of a let down. Lot's of our traders could not make it and we had even fewer visitors. Nevertheless we battled on and managed to raise £200 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

2025 Charity Calendar
- 2024
Each month, our members battle for the coveted Cover Star position. This not only gives them the WVVW cover spot for a whole month, but also qualifies them for the following years WVVW Charity Calendar. This years came out great showing 11 winners and the awesome Baja Beetle. We sold fifty of these calendars, raising an additional £350 for Santa's a Gangster which was used to purchase over 800 toys for kids that needed them.

Winter Dubland 2

A change of location for us this year, with us heading to Warley Rugby Club in Oldbury. The venue change turned out to be a success, with plenty of traders, loads of displayers, Buzbeats Internet Radio and Central Legion Cosplay all in attendance. We raised over £1,000 on the day, plus had over 1,000 gifts donated and loads of raffle tickets sold, all of which benefited Santa's a Gangster!
